Welcome to the Second edition of the WC Monthly newsletter! Each month we bring important church news, upcoming events and more to this platform! Find out what’s been happening, and what’s coming up next!

Carl loved Jesus without shame and shared his faith to the very end.
Shirley L. Wilson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away surrounded by her family on July 18th. There will be no memorial service, but those who knew her are invited to a celebration of life at Bruce’s home in Pine Creek on Saturday, August 17th from 2-6pm.
Our church district is having its annual Women’s Conference in September. This event is open to all women. If you want to attend you can click here to learn more. WC Women’s Ministry is planning to set up carpooling.
WC Kids teaches the Word of God to ages 4 to 9 every Sunday! Each month there is a new biblical theme to explore in a fun way!
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)
We have a responsibility to invest in our next generations in every way that we can! In every newsletter we want to share a little update about what our kids are learning!
This month’s theme is ‘Diving Deep’, and focuses on the topic of wisdom!
If you have a child in Kid’s Church, help them to memorize it throughout the month! If you don’t have a kid in WC Kids, then join us in praying that God’s Word will be written on the hearts of our children, and that they will seek God for wisdom in all things throughout their lives!
If you would like to take a larger role in raising the next generation, then the team here at WC Kids would love to have you!
Serving in this ministry can be as simple as coming to the service once a month sitting with the kids and helping them with the activities. You don’t need any special skills, and you don’t have to teach! If you are interested, then click the button below!
WC Men’s Group Meets Tuesdays at 6pm at the Worship Center!
Join us for our final ATV trip of the summer on August 24th! If you want to come but don’t have an ATV, show up and we will have someone you can ride with!

On July 7th Pastor Corey delivered a message on the biblical mandate of stewardship…
Stewardship is our responsibility as Christians, and it has been since the very beginning…
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 (NKJV)
Worship consists of much more than the musical praise that may come to mind at first. God desires us to worship Him throughout every facet of our lives. One way we can do this is by acknowled1ging His ownership over everything, and demonstrating good stewardship with all He has entrusted to us... but what does good stewardship entail?
We are good stewards when we reflect Christ through every aspect of our lives. This includes how we manage our time, finances, gifts, and bodies. No matter how much we desire to be good stewards, there are always going to be challenges and distractions to stewardship in these areas, but God’s Word gives us every tool we need to combat these challenges!
